Where our water comes from
Every drop starts as municipal water from the same supply that serves Santa Clarita homes. It arrives at our store already treated to federal and state drinking water standards. Our job is to take it further: remove the chlorine taste, the hardness, and the trace contaminants that can remain, then add minerals back for taste and a stable alkaline pH.
What happens inside our store
Our water runs through a 22-stage AlkaVida filtration system before it ever reaches your bottle:
- Sediment and carbon pre-filtrationRemoves rust, sediment, and the chlorine taste and odor from municipal treatment.
- Reverse osmosisWater is forced through a membrane fine enough to strip dissolved solids, heavy metals, and microorganisms.
- Polishing filtrationFinal carbon stages catch anything left, so the water tastes clean, not flat.
- RemineralizationThe purified water passes over NSF/ANSI 61 certified mineral media, picking up calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
- Alkaline finishThe result is crisp alkaline water with a pH between 8.5 and 9.5, measured daily.

Our equipment is built in the USA by AlkaVida and holds the WQA S-300 certification, tested by IAPMO R&T in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. These are the certified reduction rates:
Tested every single day
We test the pH and TDS of our water every day we are open, on the same handheld meters we use in front of customers. Filters are replaced on the industry-recommended schedule, not when they fail. If a reading is ever off, the water does not get sold. That is the whole policy.
